Flake — sometimes called chip or fleck — is the classic decorative garage floor. Colored vinyl chips are broadcast into a high-build epoxy base coat, then locked under a clear polyaspartic topcoat. The result is a seamless, non-porous floor with rich texture and depth that hides dirt and wear, cleans up with a mop, and lasts for years. A quick tip on choosing: lighter, neutral blends brighten a garage or basement and hide concrete dust, while darker, higher-contrast blends hide tire marks and everyday wear.
